Cynthia Larenas is an Australian-Ecuadorian independent multi-disciplinary designer specialising in art direction, motion and digital design. Having worked in cities such as Sydney, Barcelona, London and New York, Cynthia is currently based in Brooklyn. Throughout her career she has produced work for leading global brands like eBay, Ray-Ban and Dyson, to small startups and socially conscious companies such as Local Measure and Threadharvest, as well for musicians such as Egyptian Lover and Nelson Dialect. Cynthia has completed a Bachelor of Design (Digital Media) at Billy Blue College of Design, as well as a degree in Marketing and Communication from the University of South Australia where she received high merits for her brand thinking and strategies.

Cynthia is experienced in art direction, branding, custom typography, 2D and 3D animation, app and web design and has produced work for Spotify, ESPN NBA, Old Spice, Vans, Justin Timberlake x Amex, National Geographic, Hard Rock Cafe, City of New York, Jack Daniels, Sailor Jerry, Frost* Collective, City of Sydney, General Assembly. She has also exhibited at Ambush Gallery and at Vivid Sydney both as a visual installation artist and speaker. Cynthia has also played live visuals for musicians in New York, Barcelona, Lyon and Adelaide, and had her visuals used for a Boiler Room live set.

Cynthia is passionate about supporting brands with a social conscious and those that are creating positive change in the world. As well as striving to maintain an ethical practice, she is also passionate about digital art forms, colour, music, nature and her dog.
